Finding Brian
I’m reaching out to see if you’d consider covering a case that’s haunted me for nearly a decade—one that involves heartbreak, unanswered questions, and what I believe is a serious lack of justice.
Back in 2015, my older brother Brian Antley went missing from Columbus, Georgia. At the time, I was living in another state, but I still made calls—trying to get answers. When I reached out to the investigator assigned to the case, I was told something along the lines of, “He’s probably on a drug binge—he’ll turn up.” But that wasn’t the case.
It took a search team to find him. A month later, they recovered his body.
To this day, we don’t know what happened. His autopsy listed blunt force trauma to the head, but the cause and manner of death were left “undetermined.” There were rumors, leads, and even whispers that one of the main suspects might be connected to local law enforcement—a relative of an investigator. But no real investigation was ever pursued.
Brian left behind a daughter, and a family that still deeply loves and misses him. I think what hurts most is not just losing him, but not knowing how we lost him—or why. That kind of grief stays with you. You never expect to outlive your older sibling. Now, I’m older than he ever got the chance to be.
Mental health and addiction were part of his story, yes—but they don’t erase the need for justice or dignity. His life mattered. And I believe his story could matter to your listeners, too.
If there’s any interest in speaking with me, I’d be honored to share more. I’ve held onto this for years, and I’m still fighting to find truth, healing, and maybe some kind of accountability.
Thank you for your time,
